Boarding Requirements

Before making a reservation at Canine Country Cottages, the following requirements must be met.

• All dogs must be 6 months or older
• Vaccinations - current in the following:
  • D.H.P.P
  • Rabies
  • Bordetella
• All dogs over the age of 9 months must be spayed or neutered
• Unfortunately, our insurance coverage does not allow us to care for Pitbull or Pitbull mixes
• Compatibility meeting to ensure we can care for all canine guests safely

Please note - Because we feel strongly in the health and safety of all of our canine guests, we verify all vaccinations personally with your Veterinarian before making any reservations for cottages or tours. There is a minimum 7 day waiting period if your dog is not current in vaccinations before they are allowed to enter our facility after receiving their updated vaccinations.

A compatibility meeting with canine guests before their stay allows us to formulate an individual plan of action for your canine kid while with us. Our goal is to make their stay with us as loving, interesting and fun-filled as their home. By introducing dogs to our facility prior to their stay, it allows them to become familiar with us, our playgrounds and cottages, making their stay much more relaxing and enjoyable!
