Canine Country Cottages was developed as an alternative to traditional and free play dog boarding kennels. At Canine Country Cottages you will not find cold concrete floors, or large barn-like structures.

Instead, what you will find at Canine Country Cottages is a private cottage with private yard for only your dog or dog family. Our unique design allows dogs to go inside their own private cottage to watch their color T.V. , play with toys or play in their own large private landscaped yard. The choice is theirs during the day. At night, all dogs are tucked into the comfort of their own private climate-controlled cottage.

In addition to the luxury of enjoying their own private cottage, canine guests are also indulged with extra large playgrounds, as well as almost 10 fenced acres of walking trails with horses, miniature donkeys, and goats to visit and quiet wilderness with streams and ponds to enjoy and explore.

  • Our small, intimate facility is tucked away in the center of 10 fenced acres surrounded by trees and greenery.
  • Private climate-controlled cottage with private yard for each dog or dog family.
  • Use of Dog appeasing pheromones to reduce stress.
  • Color T.V's, multiple beds, and toys are provided.
  • Extra large pup playgrounds for individual or family play depending on your dog(s) specific needs. Playtime in playgrounds is ALWAYS supervised and carefully controlled.
  • We care for only a small amount of guests at a time so we can provide personal, loving care to each canine guest staying with us.
  • All guest arrivals and departures are scheduled between 9:00 am and 12:00 am by appointment for the relaxation and safety of our guests.
  • In depth interview and questionnaire with the parents of new guests to ensure we know our guests almost as well as their parents.
  • Each canine guest has several personalized activities during the day.
  • We are not a one-size-fits-all kennel. Each canine guests stay is tailored to their individual needs, and their specific likes or their dislikes.
  • Lots of one-on-one playtime and individualized care.
